Across Ten Mountains & Three Rivers was conceived as a temporary installation to bring visibility to stories of the Rohingya exodus experience. Layering oral histories with portraits taken by humanitarian photographer Sayed Asif Mahmud, the installation aimed to counter the erasure of personhood that is too often an effect of the refugee label. The installation was produced with Bangladeshi sculptor and metal artist Tejosh.
